How do I know if I need therapy?

Therapy can be a tool to assist you if you are experiencing emotional stress, shifts in your mood or struggles with daily life functioning. Also, therapy can help bring awareness to unconscious maladaptive thoughts and behavioral patterns. If you want to learn more about how mental health support can benefit you, please contact me.

What is your therapeutic approach?

My therapeutic approach pulls from a number of evidence based practices including but not limited to; strengths-based, family systems, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, and attachment therapy.

How does telehealth work?

Telehealth therapy is a HIPAA compliant alternative to in-person sessions. This method is an efficient way to seek mental health without traveling to a site location. If you decide you’d like to proceed, you will receive instructions on how to use the Headway portal.

How much does therapy cost?

Each session is 50 minutes at $120 per session for out-of-network. I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! KTS now accepts Cigna, Aetna, and Carefirst BCBS insurances.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you do not show for a scheduled appointment without notifying me at least 24-hours in advance, you will be charged a $100 fee.
